DragMath is a mathematical equation editor that uses Drag and Drop. The program lets you write all types of maths formulas and equations and supports various exit formats: MathML, LaTeX, Maple and Maxima.



The program is a Java applet that can run simply in the web browser. It is an editor that lets you build mathematical expressions of various complexity in 2D, and later show the exit results with correct syntax.



But this isn´t as easy as it sounds, as mathematical notation contains various ambiguities. The DragMath design and conception solves this inconvenience and gives excellent results. Although the results are in MathML, LaTeX, Maple and Maxima formats, it is possible to convert the expression into almost any style defined by the user, creating an XML file and specifying the correct syntax for the data in it.



Finally, although maths doesn´t depend on language like other sciences, DragMath includes an applet to load a translation file and translate the program to the language you want.



NOTE: For it to work correctly you need to previously install Java Runtime Environment 1.4.2 or superior.
